Zechariah 8:5 says “The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there.” Our prayer for Kid City at Calvary Baptist Church is the same…that our streets (hallways) would be filled with boys and girls playing and praising and learning about the Lord. We have a team of dedicated teachers who will carefully instruct your children in the ways of the Lord. From infancy to grade school, we will work hard to ensure that your child learns about the love of God and His special plan for his/her life.

I am so excited as I think about the upcoming events for Kid City this month!
- During Kid Power on Sunday Nights, we continue our new series on “Fishing for Friends”. Come and learn how to share Jesus with your friends!
- Wednesday, March 3rd –Champions Party at The Point AND The Lil’ Point.
- Friday, March 5th – Kid City’s Got Talent II. I’ve been shopping and I’ve got some GREAT prizes. Even if you don’t share a talent with us, please (pretty please!) come and cheer on your friends. It will be so much fun!
- THE LIL’ POINT Wednesday Nights At 7:00 PM For ages 3 years To Kindergarten. Games, stories, Lessons, snacks and more! Make it a POINT to Join us! Led by Donna McSwain & Leighette AdkinsSunday, March 7th is High Attendance Day. Our goal in Grades 1-6 Sunday School is 35! I KNOW we can do that and more! Bring a friend and pick “MYNOSE” (not MY nose, silly... “MYNOSE”)... don’t worry, parents, it’s all good!

My SHOUT OUT this month goes to preschooler Taylor Blake Johnson! Taylor Blake is the daughter of Starr and Anthony Johnson and little sister to Brooke. She is 3 years old (almost 4) and always has a smile on her face. If you did not see Taylor Blake this past Sunday, you missed a treat. She dressed herself and was a sight for sore eyes! Taylor Blake is in Mrs. Johnna’s and Mrs. Denise’s Sunday School Class. She loves to be with her friends and especially likes to “fix hair” during pretend play time. (Could she be following in her mommy’s footsteps?). Taylor Blake, I love you! Come to Kid City to see me and get a prize from my box!
