At Calvary Baptist, we've made it our mission to further the Kingdom of God and honor our Lord Jesus Christ by providing international short-term missions experiences for high school and above.
Our vision is to become a short-term missions church that glorifies Jesus Christ in all that we do. We want to create an environment that impacts our own people as much as the people we are ministering to. We want to break down the walls, barriers, and obstacles that stand between the people of the United States and the rest of the world and bring the world together as one to serve our Lord Jesus Christ.
July 3rd-9th 2008 we sent 19 students and adults to the country of Belize to minster to the needs of the people there. Our place of ministry was in the cities of Cristo Rey and Libertad Belize.God moved in a powerful way! People were saved and lives were changed! To God be the glory!
In the summer of 2011 we will be sending a team of missionaries to South Africa to minister to the needs of the people in this region. Calvary ask that you begin praying about attending or taking part in this endeavor to proclaim the name of Jesus to the world. Please continue to keep the missions leaders in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to plan and embark on this journey.
